Lake  San  Domenico​

Located in the Province of l'Aquila, Lake San Domenico sits at an elevation of 920 metres above sea level. 

The lake is located close to the town of Villalago, 102 kilometres from the city of l'Aquila, the regional capital of Abruzzo.

Among the places of interest close by are the Abruzzo, Lazio, Molise National Park, Lake Scanno and Anversa degli Abruzzi.

Lake San Domenico sits along one of the most picturesque driving routes in Italy. You can head north or south from here, taking a circular route with stops at Sulmona and Barrea for example.
