Situated just a short distance from the seaside town of Falconara Marittima, Marche Airport is the only international passenger airport in the Marche region.
It's located just over a 20 minute drive from the centre of Ancona, making it very convenient for travel to the beautiful Conero Peninsula and the other towns along the coast. |

There are though, a limited number of flights in and out of the airport along with a limited number of destinations. You can fly to and from London Stansted, London Gatwick, Munich and Brussels, but for a greater number of flight options there are other airports at the fringes of Marche. Those include Rimini, a coastal town on the same coastline but in the Emilia Romagna region, the inland city of Perugia in Umbria, and the city of Pescara which is further south down the coast in Abruzzo.
