​The Mont Avic Natural Park is situated a distance of 49 kilometres south-east of Aosta, the regional capital of Valle d'Aosta. 

It covers a total geographical area of 57 square miles and rises to an elevation of 3,006 metres above sea level. Nearby places of interest include Issogne Castle, Verres, Bard, Fort Bard and Chatillon, while Relais St Gilles is recommended accommodation.

Mont Avic Natural Park, also known as Parco Naturale Mont Avic, is a stunning protected area located in the Valle d'Aosta region of Italy.

​Covering approximately 5,747 hectares, the park is characterized by its diverse alpine landscapes, including rugged mountains, lush forests, pristine lakes, and alpine meadows. It offers visitors a chance to immerse themselves in the unspoiled natural beauty of the Italian Alps.
History
Mont Avic Natural Park was established in 1989 to preserve and protect the unique biodiversity and natural heritage of the region. The park is named after the Mont Avic peak, which stands at an impressive 3,006 meters (9,863 feet) above sea level.

The park is managed by the Regional Agency for Forests and Wildlife (ARPA), and it is part of the broader network of protected areas in the Aosta Valley.
