Situated close to the ski resort of Courmayeur, the town of Morgex has a population of 2,123 residents. 

It stands at an elevation of 923 metres above sea level while nearby places of interest include Avise, Monte Bianco and Saint-Pierre. Recommended accommodation is the Hotel Les Montagnards while Aosta is 26 kilometres to the east. ​
