The town of Saint-Pierre is situated a distance of 8 kilometres south west of Aosta, the regional capital of the Valle d'Aosta. 

It stands at an elevation of 731 metres above sea level and has a population of around 3,200 residents. Nearby places of interest include Sarre Royal Castle, Pila and Parc Animalier d'Introd. The recommended accommodation is La Meridiana.
