The town of Nus is situated a distance of 12 kilometres east of Aosta, the regional capital of the Valle d'Aosta. It stands at an elevation of 529 metres above sea level and has a population of around 3,000 residents.

Nearby places of interest include Fenis, Fenis Castle, Aosta and Saint-Vincent.
