The town of Fénis is situated a distance of 16 kilometres east of Aosta, the regional capital of the Valle d'Aosta. 

It stands at an elevation of 541 metres above sea level and has a population of around 1,800 residents. Nearby places of interest include Museo dell'Artigianato Valdostano and Fénis Castle. The recommended accommodation is the Hotel Comtes De Challant.
