Hill Towns of Sardinia
Latest update: 17 February 2022
Away from the island region's popular coastal resorts, the hill towns of Sardinia provide a different type of atmosphere and an alternative glimpse into its way of life.
Among the most attractive of these we find the town of Orosei which is situated in the Nuoro Province, a short distance from the Tyrrhenian Coast. Orosei is famous for its Baroque architecture and rabbit warren of narrow, historic streets. A short distance to the south of Orosei we find Dorgali: you can get a great view of the town along the road to the Supramonte massif. |
