The Piazza del Duomo in Milan is the most important square in the city and home to its finest monuments. The city's underground train system has a stop called Duomo that upon exit at ground level, leaves you breathless with the sight of Milan Cathedral.
The iconic Gothic facade of the Cathedral dominates the scene but the Piazza also provides entry to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. |
