The Piccolomini Castle stands on a hilltop overlooking the town of Celano in the central Italian region of Abruzzo. Originally built in 1392, the fortress is one of the finest castles in Italy.

From the castle's ramparts you can enjoy panoramic views of the local countryside while the interior hosts the Collezione Torlonia e Museo di Arte Sacra della Marsica museums.
