The Sirente Velino Regional Park is situated in the Province of l'Aquila and covers an area of 564 km².
It lies around 25 kilometres south of l'Aquila or just 12 km north of Celano if arriving from the other direction. Among the suitable accommodation bases for visiting the park are Ovindoli, Celano, Avezzano and l'Aquila. |
