The beach resort of Pioppi is situated within the Province of Salerno, on the Cilento coast.

It's officially part of the Comune of Pollica, which is a distance of eight kilometres away.

Places of interest nearby include the towns of Acciaroli, San Nicola a Mare, Montecorice and San Marco.

Naples International Airport is 144 kilometres away and reachable by car in two hours and 17 minutes while the recommended accommodation for Pioppi is the Hotel La Pineta.
