Santa Maria Beach (Ponza)

Santa Maria Beach is situated in the Santa Maria area of the island of Ponza, one kilometre north of Ponza Port. It's either a 5 minute car journey or a 15 minute walk from where the ferries arrive but given the difficulties in finding a nearby parking space, the walk is the better option. The area around the beach is almost a little town in itself so there are a number of good eating and drinking facilities, but the beach itself is often dominated by boats.
