How to Get to Santa Severina
By Rail: Santa Severina does not have its own train station. The nearest station is in Crotone, about 30 kilometres to the southeast, which is served by regional trains on the Jonica railway line. From Crotone, the town can be reached by car or local bus, with a journey time of approximately 40 minutes.

By Road: Santa Severina is located inland in the province of Crotone, set on a hilltop above the Neto River valley. The drive from Crotone takes around 40 minutes via the SP58 and SP53. From Catanzaro, the journey is approximately 75 kilometres and takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Visitor parking is available outside the historic centre.

  • Crotone Airport: The nearest airport, located roughly 35 kilometres away. The drive takes about 45 minutes via local and provincial roads.
  • Lamezia Terme International Airport: Situated approximately 110 kilometres to the southwest, with a journey time of around 1 hour and 40 minutes via the A2 and local roads.
  • Reggio Calabria Airport: Located about 200 kilometres to the south, the drive takes around 3 hours along the SS106 and inland routes.
