The island region of Sardinia's Borghi Più Belli d'Italia is a collection of five towns and villages which are full of character.

The seaside town of Castelsardo on the north coast of Sardinia catches the eye from a distance with its colourful houses clustered together on a hill and flanked by a pretty marina.

On the west coast of Sardinia facing the Mediterranean Sea is the incredible little town of Bosa which is a riot of colour that has to be seen to be believed. Each of the five selections of the list are Sardinia's representatives for the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy.
