The town of Sassuolo is located within the Province of Modena and has a population of 40,918 inhabitants.

Standing at an elevation of 121 metres above sea level, it lies 65 kilometres west of Bologna, the capital of Emilia Romagna. The main sights in Sassuolo include the Palazzo Ducale and the main square: Piazza Garibaldi. ​

Sassuolo is a town located in the Emilia-Romagna region, situated about 20 kilometres northwest of Modena, in the foothills of the Apennine Mountains. Known for its rich industrial heritage, particularly in ceramics production, Sassuolo offers a unique blend of historical charm and modern industry, surrounded by picturesque landscapes.
