The Sinis Peninsula is a coastal area on Sardinia's western coast in the Province of Oristano. 

Officially a part of the Comune of Cabras, the area is characterised by a series of beautiful sandy beaches including Sa Mesa Longa, Is Arutas and Putzu Idu. The highlight however, is the sub-peninsula of Tharros and its famous archaeological area.

The Sinis Peninsula is a captivating area located on the western coast of Sardinia, Italy. Its history dates back to ancient times when it was inhabited by the Nuragic civilization, known for their distinctive stone towers called nuraghi. The region's strategic location attracted various Mediterranean cultures, including the Phoenicians, Carthaginians, and Romans, who left their mark on the landscape.

During the Middle Ages, the Sinis Peninsula came under the rule of various Italian city-states and maritime republics. Its location along the trade routes of the Mediterranean made it an important center for trade and commerce.

Today, the Sinis Peninsula is a hidden gem, cherished for its unspoiled natural beauty, historic landmarks, and unique cultural heritage.
