The village of Stenico is situated within the Province of Trentino, at an elevation of 666 metres above sea level. It's located 31 kilometres east of Trento, the provincial capital of Trentino, and has a population of around 1,200 inhabitants.

The main sight is the Castel Stenico, while nearby places of interest include the towns of San Lorenzo Dorsino, Rango and Molveno.
