The Tempio di Antas, also known as the Temple of Antas, is an ancient archaeological site located in the southwestern part of Sardinia, Italy. It is situated in the Fluminimaggiore municipality, amidst the rugged landscapes of the Sulcis region. The temple is a well-preserved example of ancient Sardinian architecture and history, making it a significant cultural and historical attraction.
History
The Tempio di Antas dates back to the 6th century BCE and was built by the Carthaginians on a site that was previously dedicated to worship by the indigenous Nuragic civilization. The temple was later taken over and modified by the Romans, showcasing the region's historical and cultural layers.

​The temple was dedicated to the Phoenician goddess Astarte, and it is believed that it was used for religious rituals and ceremonies. It is one of the few surviving examples of Phoenician-Punic religious architecture in Sardinia.
