Turin's Porta Nuova Station is the main railway terminus in the city and the station which connects to the other major cities of Italy. It opened in 1861 and its grand facade is a feature of the city centre.
Within the station complex there's also the Porta Nuova stop on Turin's underground Metro system. From here to the central Piazza Castello it's a walk of 15 minutes, a distance of one kilometre. |
