The latest UK to Italy Covid Travel Restrictions include the latest rules which were updated on 1 May 2022. Although one of: vaccination status, proof of recovery from the virus in the previous six months or a negative Covid test are still required, the requirement to fill out a digital passenger locator form has now been removed.
The latest entry rules are effective from 1 May to 1 June 2022 with restrictions expected to ease beyond that date.
UK passengers returning home have no Covid-related travel requirements to follow.
As of 1 May the Green Pass which showed your current Covid status was scrapped, meaning it was no longer required to enter restaurants or other indoor settings.
Mask wearing rules have also been eased and they are no longer required in restaurants, cultural attractions or other indoor settings. They are still required on public transport, at least until June 15 2022 when there will be another rules update.
