United States Canada and Japan Covid Travel to Italy

On 1 May 2022 the United States, Canada and Japan Covid Travel to Italy restrictions were updated and allow citizens of those countries to plan their Italian holidays. Since the measures were updated, we've seen a big increase in the amount of American, Canadian and Japanese tourists to Italy after a long period when it wasn't possible for them to travel.

Passengers from all nations, upon entering Italy must provide one of the following:
Using the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website by clicking on the green button below, you can enter basic details such as the country you're travelling from, to then be presented with the full set of regulations that apply to your specific situation and all written in English
- Full vaccination status with the cycle completed at least 14 days prior to arrival in Italy
- A negative PCR Covid test taken within the 72 hours prior to arrival
- A negative Antigen/Lateral Flow test taken within the 48 hours prior to arrival
