The town of Valtournenche is situated a distance of 48 kilometres north east of Aosta, the regional capital of the Valle d'Aosta.
It stands at an elevation of 1,330 metres above sea level and has a population of around 2,200 residents. Nearby places of interest include Lake Maen, Breuil-Cervinia and the Matterhorn. The recommended accommodation is the Hotel Grandes Murailles. |
