Acqualagna is a charming town located in the Marche region of central Italy. Known as the "Truffle Capital," it is famous for its truffle market and gastronomic delights. ​
History
Acqualagna has a rich history dating back to ancient times. It was once part of the Roman Empire and later became an important medieval town. During the Middle Ages, Acqualagna was a strategic point along the Via Flaminia, the ancient Roman road that connected Rome to the Adriatic Sea.

Throughout history, the town has seen various rulers, including the Malatesta and Montefeltro families.
