Located in the north western corner of Sardinia, Alghero Fertilia Airport provides an alternative option to the island's two other airports (Cagliari Elmas and Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport).

​The proximity to the beautiful town of Alghero (13 km) is the first advantage of the airport which is also handy for visiting La Pelosa Beach, the island of Asinara and the multi-coloured town of Bosa.

Arriving here also puts you a couple of hours drive away from the Sinis Peninsula, home of Tharros and the famous beaches at Putzu Idu, Sa Mesa and Is Arutas. 

​Most flights operated in and out of Alghero are via low-cost airlines including the likes of Easyjet, Ryanair, Blue Air and Vueling with connections to London, Munich and Madrid to name just a few. You can also fly domestically within Italy to Rome, Milan, Naples, Venice, Turin, Trieste, Pisa, Verona, Bologna and Bergamo. ​
