The town of Avetrana is situated with the Salento region of Puglia in the Province of Taranto. It has a population of around 6,000 residents and lies 44 kilometres south east of Taranto itself.

Avetrana is a picturesque town located in the province of Taranto, in the Apulia region of southern Italy. It is situated in the heart of the Salento Peninsula, renowned for its beautiful landscapes, historical sites, and traditional culture.
