The beach resort of Le Castella is situated on the Ionian Coast, in the Province of Crotone. It's officially part of the Isola di Capo Rizzuto Comune and located 33 kilometres south west of Crotone.
Without question the main sight in the small resort is the Castello Aragonese fortress that can be traced back to the 5th century BC but takes its name from the period of 16th century Spanish rule. |
