The lakeside town of Bracciano is situated in the Metropolitan City of Rome, on the shores of Lake Bracciano. It has a population of around 19,000 residents and is located 46 kilometres north-west of Rome, the regional capital of Lazio.
The most famous sight in Bracciano is the Castello Odescalchi which was built in the 15th century and now hosts VIP weddings. |
Bracciano is one of three main towns around the eponymous lake and the one with the largest population. The other two main towns are Trevignano Romano and Anguillara Sabazia.
