By Rail: Castel San Pietro Romano does not have its own railway station. The nearest station is Palestrina (about 6 kilometres away), served by regional trains on the Rome–Cassino–Naples line operated by Trenitalia. Trains connect Palestrina to Rome Termini in roughly 50 minutes. From the station, Castel San Pietro Romano can be reached by car, taxi, or local bus along the SP58a road.

By Road: The town is located around 45 kilometres east of Rome, overlooking the Sacco Valley. From Rome, the drive takes approximately 1 hour via the A1 motorway (exit Valmontone) and SP58a. From Tivoli, the journey is about 30 kilometres and takes around 40 minutes. Visitors will find car parks near the entrance to the old town, as the historic centre is largely pedestrianised.
