How to Get to Castel Sant'Elia
By Rail: The nearest train station to Castel Sant’Elia is in Civita Castellana-Magliano, approximately 10 kilometres away. The station lies on the Rome–Viterbo regional line, operated by Trenitalia. From there, trains reach Rome in about 1 hour and 10 minutes and Viterbo in roughly 45 minutes. Local buses and taxis provide regular connections between the station and Castel Sant’Elia.

By Road: Castel Sant’Elia is located in the province of Viterbo, northern Lazio, between Nepi and Civita Castellana. From Rome, the drive is around 55 kilometres and takes about 1 hour via the SS2 Cassia or A1 motorway. From Viterbo, the journey covers approximately 35 kilometres and takes about 40 minutes. Public parking is available near the main entrances to the historic centre.
