Codroipo is a charming town located in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeastern Italy. Situated in the province of Udine, Codroipo is known for its historical significance and picturesque landscapes. ​
History
Codroipo has ancient origins dating back to Roman times when it was an important settlement along the Via Gemina, a Roman road connecting Aquileia and Emona (modern-day Ljubljana, Slovenia).

​Over the centuries, the town changed hands between various ruling families, including the Patriarchs of Aquileia and the Venetian Republic. The influence of these different rulers is evident in Codroipo's architecture and cultural heritage.
