The village of Epinel is situated a distance of 23 kilometres south of Aosta, the regional capital of Valle d'Aosta. 

It stands at an elevation of 1,452 metres above sea level and has a population of around 260 residents. Nearby places of interest include Cogne, Cretaz and the Gran Paradiso National Park. The recommended stay is the Hotel du Grand Paradis La Baita.

Epinel is a small and tranquil village located in the municipality of Cogne, in the western part of the Aosta Valley. Situated at an altitude of about 1,600 metres, it is nestled within the magnificent Gran Paradiso National Park.
