Beaches  of  Calabria

The beaches of Calabria are an almost endless feature of the region which faces the Tyrrhenian Coast to the west and the Ionian Coast on its eastern side. This collection of 16 stands apart from the beaches of the larger seaside towns such as Tropea or from the famous beach resorts which include the likes of Capo Vaticano. 

​Caminia and the other beaches on this list are situated away from the main towns and don't have too much around them in terms of shops, restaurants or accommodation. These are the places where beach life rules and the main requirements are soft sand and clear water. Tonnara di Palmi and Copanello are two great examples.
