The village of Introd is situated a distance of 14 kilometres south-west of Aosta, the regional capital of the Valle d'Aosta. 

It stands at an elevation of 880 metres above sea level and has a population of around 645 residents. Nearby places of interest include Parc Animalier d'Introd, Pila and Saint-Pierre. The recommended accommodation is the Maison Chabod.
