How to Get to Jelsi
By Rail: The nearest train station to Jelsi is in Campolieto-Monacilioni, located approximately 12 kilometres away. It lies on the Termoli–Campobasso line operated by Trenitalia, with regional services connecting to Termoli in about 1 hour and Campobasso in roughly 20 minutes. From the station, local buses or taxis can be used to reach Jelsi.

By Road: Jelsi is situated in central Molise, within the province of Campobasso. From Campobasso, it is about 20 kilometres away, taking roughly 25 minutes by car via the SS645. From Termoli, the drive covers around 60 kilometres and takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes via the SS87. Parking is available close to the town centre and main roads.

  • Naples Capodichino Airport: Around 130 kilometres southwest, with a driving time of approximately 2 hours via the SS87 and A1 motorway. The most convenient major airport for both domestic and international routes.
  • Pescara Abruzzo Airport: Approximately 150 kilometres north, taking around 2 hours by car via the A14 and SS647. Offers a range of national and European flights.
  • Foggia Gino Lisa Airport: Located about 95 kilometres southeast, with a journey time of around 1 hour and 20 minutes via the SS17 and A14. Serves regional connections within southern Italy.
