Lake  Piaganini​

Located in the Province of Teramo, Lake Piaganini is 400 metres in length and has a maximum depth of 43 metres. The lake is located close to the Gran Sasso National Park, 54 kilometres from the city of l'Aquila, the regional capital of Abruzzo.

Among the places of interest close by are the hill towns of Pietracamela and Castelli as well as the ski resort: Assergi.
