​Situated in the South Tyrol Province, Lake Resia covers an area of six square kilometres. The lake is 28 metres deep at its deepest point and stands at an elevation of 1,498 metres above sea level.

Lake Resia is a stunning glacial lake located in the far northern part of South Tyrol, near the border with Austria and Switzerland. Situated at an elevation of 1,498 metres, the lake is surrounded by the majestic Alps, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Known for its unique beauty, Lake Resia is famous for the old bell tower that rises from the water, which is all that remains of the submerged village of Graun, making it a distinctive and captivating spot.
