The seaside resort of Marina di Ravenna is a favourite holiday spot on the Adriatic Coast of Emilia Romagna. The resort has something of an unusual layout; a waterside industrial area eventually gives way to a road through trees which the beach is on the other side of.

Dozens of beach establishments line the long, sandy beach before you reach the purpose built resort with its shopping area. 
Aside from the beach, the most attractive area of the resort is around the marina; a modern area of shops and restaurants, characterised by an iconic tower of blue and white diamond shapes. During the summer it's a hive of activity with holidaymakers switching between the beach in the day and the resort's vibrant nightlife in the evenings.

How to Get to Marina di Ravenna
By Rail: Marina di Ravenna does not have its own train station. The nearest station is in Ravenna, approximately 13 kilometres inland. Ravenna is served by Trenitalia regional trains with regular services to Bologna, Rimini, Ferrara, and Faenza. From Ravenna station, Marina di Ravenna can be reached by local bus or taxi, with a journey time of around 20–25 minutes. Bus services are more frequent during the summer months.

By Road: Marina di Ravenna is a seaside resort on the Adriatic coast, part of the municipality of Ravenna. It lies around 13 kilometres east of Ravenna and 80 kilometres north of Rimini. The drive from Ravenna takes about 20 minutes via the SP1 and SP112 roads. From Bologna, the journey takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes via the A14 motorway and SS309 Romea. Public parking is available near the beaches and marina, especially during summer, although it can be busy in peak season.
