Latest update: 10 March 2022
The sleepy seaside town of Minori lies just west of its near neighbour Maiori, the two places linked via the main road that curves around a headland. Minori is an official comune in the Salerno Province of Campania with a population of 2,698.
While Minori is fairly quiet, this compact village offers much for visitors who are looking to explore the area. |

It has a lovely, sandy beach while behind it there's a small piazza and a good selection of places to eat, drink and shop. Among the main sights in Minori is the beautiful Basilica di Santa Trofimena, which is named after a Sicilan martyr.
During the summer it's possible to take boat trips to and from Minori with companies offering tours to the neighbouring towns including Positano and Amalfi or across to the island of Capri.
With its location sandwiched between Maiori to its east and Amalfi a 15 minute drive/20 minute bus ride away to the west, Minori works well as a base from which to explore the Amalfi Coast while avoiding the busier, higher profile towns where accommodation can be more expensive and hard to find such good value for money.
