The island of Molara is situated just off Sardinia's north-eastern coast in the Province of Sassari.
Unlike its near-neighbour Tavolara, the island of Molara is completely uninhabited. It measures 3.4 square kilometres in total and can be reached by private boat excursions from the Sardinian mainland town of Loiri Porto San Paolo.
