Piedmont's  Borghi  Piu  Belli  d'Italia

The region of Piedmont's Borghi Più Belli d'Italia is a collection of small towns and villages that have been listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy. Away from the typical tourist trail, these borghi/villages offer a genuine insight into the history of the Piedmont region with a diverse range of scenery, architecture and idiosyncratic features on display. 

Usseaux for example is a mountain village where the houses are all decorated with art, while Orta San Giulio is the most famous town on this list as it sits opposite the exceptionally-beautiful Isola San Giulio, one of the most iconic sights in Piedmont on Lake Orta.
