Seaside  Towns  of  Lazio

The seaside towns of Lazio listed below are all official municipalities (comuni in Italian) and represent some of the most popular bathing spots on the Tyrrhenian Coast of Italy. These seaside towns are complemented by the smaller beach resorts of Lazio which has its own category and a number of entrants. 

Topping the list of seaside towns we have the beautiful Gaeta which combines an illustrious history, dramatic scenery and some of the best sandy beaches in the region. Smaller, but no less impressive, is the town of Sperlonga whose whitewashed houses look down on to the sea and expansive beaches in each direction.
