Beach  Resorts  of  Lazio

The beach resorts of Lazio are categorised in a slightly different way from the same region's seaside towns. The beach resorts listed here are all frazioni, or smaller towns that make up part of an official municipality or comune. 

Lazio has a long stretch of coastline facing the Tyrrhenian Sea and has an enviable collection of towns and beaches of soft sand. 

Among the highlights here are Santa Severa with its famous castle creating an iconic image, while the resorts of Torvainica and Lavinio offer a combination of great beaches and nearby facilities.
