Tempio Canoviano

The Neoclassical Tempio Canoviano is an Antonio Canova designed church, in the town of Possagno, Treviso Province.
It's situated 42 kilometres from the city of Treviso and around 80 kilometres north west of Venice, the regional capital of Veneto. Construction on the structure began in 1819 and it was finally opened in 1830. |
Local places of interest include Bassano del Grappa, Marostica, Cittadella and Castelfranco Veneto. By car you can reach Bassano del Grappa in 28 minutes (18 km), Vicenza in just over an hour (52 km) or Venice in an hour and 20 minutes (86 km).
