Torre Colimena is a small seaside village located in the southern part of Puglia, within the Province of Taranto. Situated along the Ionian coast, it is part of the municipality of Manduria, in the heart of the Salento region. The village is known for its peaceful atmosphere, with a long stretch of sandy beach and clear, shallow waters. Torre Colimena is also famous for the historic tower from which it takes its name, the Torre Colimena, a coastal watchtower built in the 16th century to protect the area from pirate invasions.

Visitors to Torre Colimena can enjoy the quiet beaches, ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing by the sea. The surrounding area is home to the Salina dei Monaci nature reserve, a protected area that attracts birdwatchers due to its rich biodiversity, including migratory birds.
