The village of Tossicia is situated within the Province of Teramo and has a population of around 1,307 inhabitants.
Standing at an elevation of 409 metres above sea level, it covers a total area of 27 km². Tossicia lies a short distance north-east of the Gran Sasso & Monti della Laga National Park. A quiet and unassuming place, it doesn't have an abundance of sights but is home to a small museum (Museo di Tossicia) and its main church is the Chiesa Parrocchiale di Santa Maria Assunta. |
