The seaside town of Alba Adriatica is situated on the Adriatic Coast in the Province of Teramo.

It has a population of 12,548 inhabitants and is located around 40 kilometres north east of Teramo, the provincial capital. The town has 20 hotels while nearby places of interest include Villa Rosa, Tortoreto Lido, Martinsicuro and Giulianova.

History
Alba Adriatica is a relatively young town that was founded in the early 20th century. It was originally a small fishing village, but it experienced significant growth and development in the 1950s and 1960s, becoming a well-established seaside resort.

The town's name "Alba Adriatica" is derived from "Alba," meaning sunrise, and "Adriatica," referring to the Adriatic Sea, highlighting its coastal location.
