​The town of Barberino di Mugello is part of the Metropolitan City of Florence province with a population of 11,003 inhabitants.

Standing at an elevation of 270 metres above sea level, it's located a distance of 40 kilometres north of Florence, the regional capital of Tuscany.  Nearby places of interest include Lake Bilancino, Borgo San Lorenzo, Scarperia and Vicchio.

Barberino di Mugello is a charming town located in the Tuscan hills, about 30 km north of Florence. Known for its scenic surroundings, this area boasts rolling hills, forests, and a mix of rustic and historic architecture. The town itself offers a peaceful atmosphere, with narrow streets that lead to quaint piazzas, where visitors can enjoy local cafes and boutiques.
