The town of Cingoli is situated within the Province of Macerata and has a population of around 10,000 residents.

It stands at an elevation of 631 metres above sea level and is included in the list of Borghi Più Belli d'Italia (most beautiful villages in Italy). Places of interest nearby include Treia, Montecassiano, Macerata, Iesi and the Frasassi Caves. ​

Cingoli, often referred to as "The Balcony of the Marche," is a picturesque hilltop town located in the Marche region of Italy. Perched on a hill at an elevation of around 663 meters (2,175 feet), Cingoli offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, including rolling hills, vineyards, and the shimmering Adriatic Sea. ​
History
Cingoli has ancient origins, dating back to pre-Roman times. During the Middle Ages, the town became a fortified stronghold and played a strategic role in regional conflicts.
