Gradara Castle
Latest update: 26 February 2022
The Gradara Castle dominates the landscape of the medieval town from which it takes its name. Enclosing Gradara on all sides are an impressive set of turreted walls that are almost entirely intact.
The castle itself sits in an elevated position overlooking the rest of the town and was originally built in the twelfth century. It boasts fascinating internal areas and amazing views from its ramparts. |
